Wire Saw

Wire saws escape many of the constraints of concrete cutting equipment. Using a wire means the direction of the cut can be changed easily along any axis, creating long or deep cuts.

These saws allow cuts to be made flush to adjacent walls and can create straight or curved cuts on a three dimensional axis, opening a raft of opportunities for innovation.

A wire saw creates an endless loop with a section of diamond wire, which is then spun at speed, drawing the wire against the concrete, the diamond beads cutting away the concrete.
