Ring saw

The ring saw’s design avoids the danger that comes with using a hand saw with a blade of 500mm (20 inches) or greater. Although is it is significantly more expensive to buy and maintain, it provides a safer way to cut to a depth of 250mm when using a hand-held saw.
Ring saws may be petrol or hydraulic powered but only hydraulic powered ring saws should be used inside a building, as they do not emit carbon monoxide fumes.
