Lowery were awarded a sub-contract to Downer on the North South Junction Tunnel Lowering Project in August 2010 for the approximate value of $700,000. The aim of this project was to increase the line speed at which trains can travel between North and South junction on the North Island Main Trunk (NIMT). The scope of the project was to install rock bolt strengthening works to tunnel 3-6 to facilitate floor lowering, This work involved: On behalf of the Ministry of Justice I would like to thank you and or your organisation for your contribution to the successful completion of the new Supreme Court building and the restored High Court building. They are both superbly constructed and crafted buildings and your contribution to that is acknowledged by the Ministry.
